All of our programmes achieve the right balance of experience and reflection to ensure the relation of learning back to work situations.
RKandA cooperates with VerticalAir, a Lake District-based specialist in delivering outdoor programmes. Their fully qualified and experienced staff use their unique ropes course in the woods of a nearby hotel together with activitives such as abseiling and using a zip-wire to challenge and develop teamwork, unleashing a sense of adventure and risk taking that can then be applied back in the workplace.
Renowned for the quality of our coaching, team and leadership training, and development processes, all individually tailored to meet the needs and business goals of our clients, we have a proven track record in providing a return on our clients' investment.
Most solutions weave together the elements of Self, Team and Leader. These subjects are closely interrelated, and have an impact on each other; a programme aimed at improving teamwork will inevitably cover issues around leadership, for example, and personal development is key to working in a team. Our programmes use a balance of groupwork, individual reflection and discussion to explore the links between these elements.
Team Building Work today involves contact with other people. Most people work with others, or at least, have dealings with colleagues on a regular basis. Some are part of formal work teams, with a definite structure and purpose. We offer programmes using two different approaches to teamwork Our solutions with 'Teamwork Skills' as the focus are designed to equip participants with the awareness and skills required to work in a range of team situations.
Leadership programmes are custom designed to respond to the needs of managers in your company, providing them with the opportunity to assess and develop their leadership ability.
Through a combination of practical project leadership, theoretical input and review, participants explore the critical processes of leadership, and then form an action plan to take what they have learned back into the workplace. We then use this information to draw conclusions and formulate plans and strategies to use this knowledge in the working environment.
The process goes through various stages:
- consultation - you share your vision, strategies and obstacles with us. We listen to you in order to gain a clear understanding of your situation and the business context in which you operate.
- co-creation - we design and develop appropriate development strategies that respond to your vision and your needs. By doing this in close consultation with you, we ensure that you remain in control and receive the service most suited to your requirements.
- delivery - we work with you to deliver the process.
- follow-up, support and evaluation - we review experiences, relate them to working practices and transfer this learning to the workplace. We monitor and review everything that we do and constantly evaluate our process by spending time with you to establish whether or not we are meeting your aims, relating what we're delivering back to your original objectives in order to ensure that we continue to reach your targets and surpass your expectations.
